![]() ![]() ![]() Each season improved running has without a doubt been the super important end goal, but the challenge has always been finding different ways to reach my goal that DID NOT involve the treadmill or endless walking-lunges. I've been a marathon and ultra-marathon runner for years and have always enjoyed working out at the Alaska Club. My confidence and health is worth it, and I’m so glad I can work with Hannah! My 13-year old talks about how much muscle I have now, and I just hope that I can inspire her to dedicate time and effort to her own fitness as she grows. I have gained so much strength in these few months, and I can tell a huge difference in my everyday activities and with my agility. She is able to correct my form and encourage me just as if I were in the gym with her. Hannah continued to push me and formulate workouts just for me. I wasn’t sure how the virtual sessions would work, but my concerns quickly faded when I realized I could still progress, even from home. One day, Hannah gave me a call to see if I would be interested in doing some virtual personal training (VPT) over Zoom. I spent a couple of months trying to figure out how I could continue my training and stay healthy for my kids while my husband was deployed. I was making awesome progress when the pandemic hit. For the past 15 years, I’ve been making excuses and saying “one day I’ll get back in the shape.” I decided to invest in myself by working with a trainer at The Alaska Club. ![]()
